Hello and welcome to the Sedona Trading Post. My name is David Shapiro and I am the owner of the Trading Post. Words don't do it but I'll try my best to let you know what a truly wonderful place this is. We have a 3000 square foot store on Hwy 179 in Sedona's Village of Oak Creek. We don't want to be just like every other store on Sedona's Main Street where after a while everything starts to look the same. So to fill our shop we've rented out most of it to local artists and crafts people, photographers, potters and jewelry makers. Everybody gets a spot in the store. Most everything is locally made. I deal with the local Native Americans, mostly Navajo and Hopi and bring Indian arts, craft and jewelry into the store. We have a most eclectic collection of merchandise ranging from tourist post cards and shot glasses to collectable fine art and jewelry. Visitors often say that after being in and out of Sedona's shops that this is the nicest with the best selection and the most reasonable prices. Well I know we're not the fanciest or the most professionally decorated but we do offer something that most do not - a chance to buy directly from the artist!
